03 — How I got here
Built across a few industries, one craft at a time.
None of this began as a plan. Each part came from staying close to the work — building brands, running properties, building the technology behind them, and learning what a place needs to outlast the person who made it.
Fashion & apparel
Eighteen years in apparel taught me to obsess over materials, product and the people who use them.
Hospitality
Seven properties launched and run by hand. Five carried all the way through to sale.
AI & technology
Founded Qwe Inc. and spent seven years building AI and the systems that run behind real places.
Early education
Qualified in Japan as both a childcare worker and kindergarten teacher — education is what convinced me something is worth leaving behind.

I'm drawn to the value other people walk past.
I'm Noriaki Yokota, based in Nara. Eighteen years in apparel, twelve years in hospitality, seven years building AI through Qwe Inc. — seven properties launched and run, five of them carried through to sale. Different fields, same habit: get close to the work, find where something's being wasted, and build a more honest system around it.
